Integrated trading platform launched

On November 4, Xiangxi Tea Industry Group Co., Ltd. was established. At the same time, the “Mysterious Xiangxi, Golden Tea Network” integrated trading platform was officially launched. The platform will attract all kinds of tea farmers, tea enterprises and tea merchants of the whole chain to settle, and become a one-stop comprehensive service platform for tea product traceability, exchanges and sales exhibition. There are 911,000 mu (about 607,333 hectares) of tea gardens in Xiangxi, with an annual comprehensive output value of nearly 9 billion yuan. 600,000 Xiangxi people earn a living by tea. The tea industry has helped Xiangxi people to get rid of poverty and achieve rural revitalization.

Xiangxi Tea Industry Group, as a leading tea company, will coordinate the organic connection and division of labor in Xiangxi’s various tea areas, and create a new industrial operation model. This is a milestone event in the history of tea development in Hunan Province, which helps unite tea enterprises in the province.

The integrated trading platform is aimed at upgrading the quality, enhancing the brand, expanding sales channels and boosting consumption of Xiangxi’s tea products, enabling the high-quality development of Xiangxi’s tea industry.

The first batch of 23 enterprises entered the platform, and more than 100 products debuted. It is expected that within three years, 1,500 enterprises will settled, with sales exceeding 500 million yuan, and more than 100,000 tea farmers will increase production and income.

The intelligent factory of Xiangxi Tea Industry Group started construction, which will integrate such functions as production, packaging and processing. The total area of the factory is 11,250 square meters, with an estimated annual output of 5,000 tons of various types of tea and a comprehensive output value of 200 million yuan.
